every time ive gone to modern medicine doctors ive felt like im sitting there with an authority figure and if i dont prove to them im sick im wasting both their time and tax payers money.
but when i went to a traditional chinese medicine doctor i felt like wow this woman knows that im suffering just by looking at me and she truly wants to use all her healing knowledge to help me even though i might not always have the money to pay for it. and that was so beautiful. she helped me a lot!! eventually had to stop seeing her tho cos i couldnt afford it </3

I suffer from white coat syndrome given the awful experiences I had with doctors when I was younger and trying to get help.

I eventually did meet the pshrink who probably saved my life but it was a hard road.

its crazy how many of us have to suffer thru awful experiences to get the right help…

yeah:/ doctors are the same here, super condescending and cold. i hate doctors

they get paid way too much…if they didnt, better ppl would become doctors i think

true... and their education is rooted in making them cold hearted and distrustful of patients and no one seems to see the problem here. fighting a war to prove to a doctor that ur really struggling with what you're struggling with is NOT okay
