every time ive gone to modern medicine doctors ive felt like im sitting there with an authority figure and if i dont prove to them im sick im wasting both their time and tax payers money.
but when i went to a traditional chinese medicine doctor i felt like wow this woman knows that im suffering just by looking at me and she truly wants to use all her healing knowledge to help me even though i might not always have the money to pay for it. and that was so beautiful. she helped me a lot!! eventually had to stop seeing her tho cos i couldnt afford it </3

in my experience with the swedish health care system tax-funded health care sucks cos to them ur just another sick citizen and if u want any help u always have to do whatever they say (suits some people i guess), whereas with private health care ur a ~Paying Costumer~ and u always have the right to decide what kind of care u want or dont want (suits me better).
none of these systems are truly good tho, a good system would be something entirely different i think.

i feel like i cant talk to anyone (except my man) about my symptoms cos first of all theyre very personal and secondly i will probably be attacked for not doing what another person would do in a similar situation. so im keeping it a secret and if i suddenly die u know its cos of my mystery disease

today i miss living on the same street as an organic artisanal bakery. not that theyre open on mondays but still… i wish i could just go outside and get me a pain au chocolat without having to take a bus to the city. i love everything else about living here tho!! so its fine hehe :-)

yesterday my parents were here and they brought us the most delicious saffron buns with orange zest and lots of butter, i had three yesterday but aaahhh i want moooore!!!! we have no more tho <///3
